objectively i wouldnt even dislike taxes if 45% of my earnings werent funding the blood-bodies-oil industry, were actually being used to help people in poverty/public school systems/healthcare/elderly care/childcare for parents etc etc etc except like. its not. and then on top of this the government is like 'what if you and all your minority friends had no rights? what if we took them? well theres nothing you can do except vote :’)’ and then if you even breathe of disappointment in the current State Of Things 45000 america fan dogs jump you and tell you 'in some other countries they would just kill you’ like okay. thanks. very productive conversation
Seattle Public Library is doing this awesome program called Books Unbanned that allows teens and young adults (ages 13-26) access to their collection of e-books and e-audiobooks from anywhere in the USA. All you need to do is fill out a simple form and you get their Books Unbanned card. Please share this information far and wide. I know they’re not the only ones to have done this, but the more the merrier!
